Designer David Zinn makes his LA Opera debut with sets and costumes for Tamerlano (November 2009). His work has recently been seen on Broadway with costumes for Xanadu and A Tale of Two Cities. Opera credits include sets and costumes for companies including Lyric Opera of Chicago, Santa Fe Opera, Washington National Opera and Glimmerglass Opera, among others. Additional New York credits include sets and/or costumes for MTC, Second Stage, New York Theater Works, Theatre for a New Audience, Signature, Target Margin. He has also designed for prestigious regional theaters including ART, Yale Rep, Intiman, Seattle Rep, La Jolla, CenterStage, Arena Stage, Berkeley Rep, act, Geffen, OSF, Taper and many others. He is the winner of the 2008 Obie Award for Sustained Excellence in Set and Costume Design.
