Gregory Sliskovich

Gregory Sliskovich returns to LA Opera as the Second Boy in The Magic Flute (January 2009). A ninth grader, he is a member of the Los Angeles Children's Chorus. He was the solo child in LA Opera's 2007 production of La Bohème and has appeared in seven other Company productions: Der Rosenkavalier (2005), Pagliacci 2005), Tosca (2005, 2008), Grendel (2006), which he also performed at New York's Lincoln Center Festival, Hansel and Gretel (2006) and Carmen (2008). He performed with the Los Angeles Philharmonic in Carmina Burana, Mahler's Third Symphony, Britten's War Requiem, Carmen and Mahler's Eighth Symphony, and with the Los Angeles Master Chorale in Rouse's Requiem. He was the featured soloist with the American Jewish Symphony in Bernstein's Chichester Psalms. He also appeared in the Los Angeles Children's Chorus world premiere opera Keepers of the Night. He is a devoted fan of the AS Roma soccer team.
